Richard Li Tzar-kai is a Hong Kong businessman and investor who serves as the founder and chairman of Pacific Century Group (PCG). Early in his career, he founded STAR TV, a pan-Asian satellite-television network that he later sold to Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation for $950.5 million. He subsequently oversaw the $38 billion acquisition of Cable & Wireless HKT in 2000 through PCCW, creating Hong Kong's dominant telecommunications network operator.
