Emmanuel Macron is a French politician serving as President of France since 2017. He previously worked as an Inspector of Finances and an investment banker at Rothschild & Co before being appointed Deputy Secretary-General to President François Hollande in 2012 and Minister of Economics and Finance in 2014. In 2016, he launched the centrist political movement En Marche (now Renaissance) and won the 2017 presidential election, becoming the youngest president in French history, before securing reelection in 2022.
