Robert Kraft is an American businessman who serves as the chairman and chief executive officer of the Kraft Group, a diversified holding company with operations in paper and packaging, sports, and real estate. In 1994, he acquired the NFL's New England Patriots for $172 million, averting a proposed franchise relocation and ultimately building the $350 million Gillette Stadium. Kraft also founded Major League Soccer's New England Revolution in 1996 and established the Boston Uprising esports franchise in 2017.
